Cynthia Forlorne is the artist alias of Josefin Jalhed, currently based in Malmö, Sweden.
I’m a composer by education, mainly interested in the non-auditory qualities of music, while also taking a lot of pleasure in making music with synthesizers – two things quite difficult to marry into a single aesthetic philosophy! However, this dialectic hopefully produces a productive synthesis (pun very much intended) in the end.
I also venture into other artistic fields, like graphics, photography, poetry and more. I feel very much driven to expanding my knowledge, and believe there’s a certain virtue to being a polymath – even inside art.
